Introducing the Pat Moore Scholarship Fund

Waterville Valley BBTS / SEF is honored to announce that we will be administering the Pat Moore Scholarship Fund in support of our snowboard athletes.

Pat Moore’s professional snowboarding career began at here under the coaching of Bill Enos. Pat grew up in Plymouth, NH and graduated from Waterville Valley Academy/Plymouth High School in 2005. His professional career has taken him all over the world competing in the X-games and filming for numerous movies, most recently “The Art of Flight” with Travis Rice and Red Bull. His foundation was formed in 2009 to help support local WVBBTS snowboarders in their pursuit of excellence and education.

Scholarships Available for the 2011-12 Season

  • One (1) full scholarship for a new or returning snowboard athlete from SAU 48 (Plymouth, NH and surrounding towns) which includes WVBBTS membership and training fees for the Snowboard Program, various products from Pat's sponsors and a WV season pass
  • Partial scholarships will be awarded to new or returning Snowboard athletes based on demonstrated need and availability of funds
  • 30,000 airline miles equal to one (1) round trip ticket to a snowboard athlete for use in WVBBTS related  travel
  • One (1) High Cascade Camp Session to a snowboard athlete

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:  
Applications for athletes applying for the SAU 48 Full Scholarship must be received by October 20th, 2011.
All other applications must be received by October 30th, 2011.
