Barta Wins Gunstock J3 Divisional Qualifier

Gunstock, NH -- WVBBTS J3 alpine skier Lauren Barta skied her way to 1st place at the Gunstock Divisional Qualifier on January 15th.

"The girls skied lights out," said BBTS coach Dave Reynolds. "They definately showed up with their 'A' game." Right behind Barta was Tess Coutu in 6th, Sophie Antonioli in 8th, Anna Foley in 9th, Risa Mosenthal in 14th and Jullian Salvucci in 20th.

Dougie Deluca led for the BBTS boys placing in 8th with AJ Barry right behind him in 9th, Cameron Digiacomo in 12th, Chris Bertram in 14th, Ted Soper in 15th, Sam Goldberg in 16th, Ben Slater in 19th and Chase St. Laurent in 20th.

After all three divisional races are all done, the top 15 girls and 23 boys will race at NH State Championships for a shot at making the state team and J3 Eastern Junior Championships.
