Hi Everyone!
I hope all is well, I have some results from Colorado. You probably don't want to here how much snow is out here, so I won't tell you. But we will bring some home with us.
A few nights ago Kai Wiggins tore it up in stacked field of rail riders. Kai finished 7th and gained a ton of experience. Today the course at Copper was tough - there was wind, snow and poor visibility. Olivia had it the hardest, testing speed in the am with the variable conditions she cased a jump and off we went for am x-ray. She's fine and in good spirits and will only be off snow for a week our so. In the first heat of men's slopestyle, Kai Wiggins finished 5th, Merrick Joyce finished 3rd, and Alex Rodway finished 2nd. For the second heat, weather had set in, and Colin Hart rode very well as did Nick Julius -- but were skunked by the adverse conditions. We are still awaiting the final results from the FIS committee on whether this event will be scored off the 1st run only. If this is the case, Alex Rodway placed in the top 3 and will be invited to the Denver Big Air in January. Overall, everyone rode well!
See you all soon,
Bill
