BBTS Jr Snowboarders - Feb 6th, USASA Halfpipe
Feb 9, 2011  |  Posted by: Jeremy Gasowski
This Sunday’s USASA half pipe competition was awesome!  Michael and Ethan both killed it. The judges were stoked when they saw little Ethan mock into both wall and was able to get to the top of each wall. There were a couple hits where he actually got out of that twenty-two foot half pipe. Ethan ended at the top of his division. Michael had a great second place finish. He was the only one in his division to put down and solid first run. After putting down his first run he was able to go for it in his second run. He went bigger, made solid grabs on each wall, and through a nice front side Five-forty at the end of his run. If he had rode away clean, He would have easily won first place. I was impressed not only by the fact that they both killed it, but also by the way the conducted themselves. They were both respectful of the other competitors and they both thanked Mr. and Mrs. Guldemond after the competition. Great job guys!
