WVBBTS is honored to announce that, Jason Guilbert, Head U14 Coach and Junior Alpine Program Director has been named the recipient of this year’s Ron Boulay Award Coaching Award.


Jason is a WVBBTS and WVA Alumni, who began his coaching career in 1999. From 2009-2017, he was WVA’s Head Men’s FIS Coach. This season was his first working with our junior racers. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Jason was also highly involved in maintaining the safety of our on-hill venues. Jason had this to say about being named the award winner.
“I am honored to receive the Ron Boulay Award this year. I thank everyone for the support I received this season as I transitioned into my new role.”

Mike Savage, WVBBTS Alpine Program Director, commended Jason for his nomination, “Receiving this award exemplifies Jason’s incredible commitment to and support of all of our programs, both on and off the hill.
I would like to thank him for helping make all our programs superlative and ensuring that WVBBTS continues to provide a “World Class” experience!”

This prestigious coaching award, which was established in 2011, is given annually to the BBTS alpine coach who has best displayed BBTS’s core values of integrity, teamwork, learning and excellence and has shown devotion and dedication to the athletes, the program, and the sport. Past recipients include:
