At WVABBTS, we believe in training sessions designed to accelerate athlete development in a focused environment. Our camps combine on-snow skill progression with off-snow conditioning, technical workshops, and team-building experiences. Camps are tailored to age groups, disciplines, and goals, whether preparing athletes for youth races, advancing competitive skiers toward regional or national success, or building lifelong confidence on snow. Here is what 26/27 has available. Some of these camps are invitation only.
Alpine Dryland Camp with Coach Tom Barbeau is a dynamic, high-energy program designed to build strength, endurance, and overall athletic performance in a fun and engaging environment. Under Tom’s guidance, campers participate in a diverse range of activities, including rollerblading, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, and team-based competitions – that challenge both individual fitness and teamwork. Younger athletes can begin to get a feel for competitive training, while older athletes can hone in on their strength and conditioning, while preparing for the upcoming season. The camp also incorporates specialized conditioning exercises rooted in the Burdenko Method, focusing on balance, coordination, flexibility, and injury prevention. This well-rounded approach helps athletes develop a strong physical foundation while enjoying the outdoors and pushing their limits in a supportive, motivating setting.
A detailed camp agenda and a packing list will be sent out prior to the camp start.
