Waterville Valley Academy is committed to providing 5 days a week in-person learning for the fall of 2020. WVA is well-positioned for an on-campus experience that is both safe and enriching both academically and athletically. Our staff has been tirelessly working on a comprehensive re-opening plan ( document above) that helps ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community at large.
Some of the advantages of WVA that will help us achieve our goal of a safe and enriching experience include:
- Increased daily cleaning of all campus spaces by professional cleaners
- The small size of WVA allows for reduced numbers in the classroom, with no more than 10 students per class
- An outdoor learning space has been set up to be utilized whenever possible
- A flexible nature that will allow for a smoother transition back to school and if necessary a seamless transition to remote learning.
