WVBBTS Snowsports Educational Foundation’s Alpine ski training program offers athletes the opportunity to train at multiple levels; Mitey Mites for young athletes, U10/12/14 for ages 9-13, U/16 for ages 14 and 15, U19/21 for ages 16-21, Masters for ages 21 and over, and the full-time WVA programs beginning at age 11. Our outstanding coaching staff is dedicated to the development of the entire athlete and is guided by our Core Values of Integrity, Teamwork, Learning and Excellence.

Alpine Program Director
Alpine Director and Head WVA Women’s U19/U21 Coach. Mike is a native of Stratton, Maine, and a 1986 graduate from Carrabassett Valley Academy. After completing his national and international racing career, Mike attended the University of Maine, Farmington, where he received a degree in Business Economics and a Ski Industry Certification. During this time, he was also the Alpine Program Manager of the Titcomb Ski Program. Mike also received his PSIA Full Certification and a Level 500 International Coach Certification. Mike traveled with the USST Women Europa Cup and World Cup circuits in 1990-1991. During that time he helped establish one of the top Women’s Alpine Programs in the United States. He has coached and managed alpine programs in both the east and west. In 2005, Mike started an elite women’s private alpine team, Team Savage Ski Racing, training elite women from across the country, to become the best they could be in alpine ski racing. Director of Alpine Weekend and Club Programming & Head U14 Coach
Jason is a WVBBTS and WVA Alumni. He attended the University of New Hampshire, where he was a four-year member of their alpine ski team. Jason began coaching in 1999 and has held several positions, including Head Alpine Coach & Program Director at The New Hampton School. Jason is a Level 300 coach and was WVA’s Head Men’s FIS Coach from 2009-2017. Jason may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
