Freestyle Development “B” Program
Athletes, ages 8-14 years old, male and female, compete in the Eastern Qualifier Series (“B” Circuit) through USSA Eastern Freestyle. This is an entry-level youth competition circuit that feeds directly into the USSA Pipeline, which includes the Eastern Championship Series, Junior Nationals, US National Championships, World Cups and, eventually, the Olympics. Athletes travel throughout New England to compete in moguls, aerials and slopestyle. Athletes receive points and rankings on the EQS points list and can qualify for the Tri-State Champs, the East Coast Junior Championships(ages 11-15), and the Young Gun Championships (10yrs old and under).
Athletes in the Devo Program are encouraged to train and compete in slopestyle, moguls, and aerials. The separate skills learned in each of the different disciplines will only improve the athlete’s skiing skills and competition readiness. Once an athlete is 15 years old, they choose whether to specialize in either moguls, aerials, or slopestyle.
